"Good Day Carmel" is an active digital media platform featuring a website, active social media and daily eNewsletter. The notion became reality when Carmel, Indiana activist and volunteer Jeff Worrell approached Pickett and Associates with a vague concept that included giving community members an outlet to promote their organizations, teams and causes.
To capture the essence of "positive" in a brand that also needed to reflect a savvy, upscale market, Pickett and Associates developed a list of potential concept names and looks as well as a strategic marketing plan that layed out concepts for a website, social media and branding.
"Good Day Carmel," "Be Part of the Positive," and the brand mark -- a quirky smile integrated into "Good Day Carmel" -- set the tone for the project that would be premiered at Carmel's first annual Porchfest in September 2014.
